In her Easter Bonnet... or dress... :)

This year I made the kids matching outfits... It was a lot of fun! And i think they turned out really cute... So here they are... how handsome is this kid! :) I couldn't get really great pictures due to the gusting wind outside and the lack of cooperation from the little girl involved... but you get the idea and I will try again this Sunday.

We have a great nursery leader who is letting me bring A in early since she is such a terror in Sunday school... how cute is this! Luckily I just happened to have the camera in my purse.

Before I was a mom

Someone sent me this and I LOVE it...
Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom

Crayon Roll Kit

Im going to be selling a kit for my crayon rolls. It comes with an 8 pack of crayons, and the fabric and ribbon you will need to make the roll, as well as the pattern and instructions. I will be taking orders through the next month and will ship everything out on the 22 of April. The inside will be rainbow like the one pictured here and the outside will be either red, blue or pink. You can send me a message or buy it on ETSY.

This is a super easy project. Even for a beginner. Perfect to throw into your purse or church bag. :)

Happy birthweek to me!

I am saying birthweek because it was a GREAT week. As a mom sometimes i feel like i get lost and forgotten in the daily shuffle of caring for my family. But last week my family was amazing. Daddy helped out around the house an extra lot all week. We did some fun stuff as a family and for the first time since I left home i didnt have to make my own birthday cake.

On my actual birthday My mom sent me a party in a bottle. Which was awesome... :) Then we went to taco bell for dinner. I just really wanted taco bell. :) and then Daddy and his brother took K home to play games while A and I went shopping together. Didnt get much but we still had fun.

It was a great week and I am so grateful for my family and friends for making it the best birthday in a long time.
